All the lifts in France are affected by this law.
The affected domains are :
- Security systems
- Mandatory technical controls
- New maintenance rules.
For security systems, 17 risks have been identified by a workgroup composed of representatives from the profession (lift consultants, lift manufacturers... ).
Examples :
Risk n° 11 describes the obligation to have in each lift a bidirectional emergency phone, linked to a security call-center.
The '' SAE Pack '' from ANEP proposes a complete solution for this requirement.
Risk n°4 involves issues regarding landing doors.
'' CALYPSO '', the surveillance system for landing doors, allows the detection of the opening of a landing door without the lift car present. A sirène and flashing beacon alert users whilst the fault is transmitted to the call center.
